Wr freuen uns riesig viel eher als erwartet wieder zu unseren Freunden in der Schweiz zu reisen! Am Sonntag dem 20 Juli werden wir auf unserem Rückweg vom belgischen Dour- noch kurz im Club eines guten alten Kumpels in Osnabrück vorbeischauen und die Gitarren einstöpseln. Festival Season

Festival season just started and HSB already played their first Festivalshow this year. Groetzrock has been amazing! Thanks to everybody who came out and had a great night with us.

We´re really proud to announce that HSB will hit Finland for the very first time, at last! We just confirmed the show at the famous Ilosaarirock Festival. Have a look at www.ilosaarirock.fi for more info.

But there is also really bad news: We had to cancel our show at Metal Camp Festival in Slovenia. We´re so sorry about it, we were just keen playing this awesome Festival again, yet it was just impossible to manage things with our tight schedule this summer. Next year we´ll be on, promised!

Iconoclast-Tour

We´re getting ready to hit European roads for our „Iconoclast-Tour“, make sure you will be there, w´re supported by the almighty ABORTED and German shooting stars MISERY SPEAKS. We decided to play rather small and casual clubs, so there will be a great atmosphere at the shows – but hurry to get your tickets, as some clubs run low on tickets already!!!

Wir sind dabei unsere Koffer für die kommende “Iconoclast-Tour” zu packen. Ihr solltet Euch das nicht entgehen lassen, wir haben auch noch Belgiens Schlächter Nr.1 nämlich ABORTED im Schlepptau und auch Deutschlands Nachwuchshoffnung MISERY SPEAKS werden ordentlich draufhauen. Wir haben uns dafür entschieden kleinere und gemütlichere Clubs zu buchen um eine coole Atmosphäre zu haben – aber das heißt auch, dass Ihr euch wegen Karten beeilen solltet, für einige Clubs werden Tickets schon knapp!

Hey folks!

Last weeks have been really, really exciting for Heaven Shall Burn – we´re showered with great news every day and the reason for that is you guys!!! Please press the hug button on your computer NOW!!! We don´t know what to say! We´re just overwhelmed by your reactions, your e-mails, your messages and by your great response at our release-shows. So far we did four of them and all were sold out: Munich, Athens, Jena and the Festival in Essen! Next weekend we´re going to rock Vienna – make sure you get your tickets asap! So here we go with some more information:

1. Alex and Maik beautify this month´s cover of the German GUITAR magazine! If you want to know why it´s not so important for HSB to play too accurate in studio and why Maik hates solos, have a look at the amusing workshop in the magazine. More info: www.guitar.de

2. HSB hit the official charts in several European countries, among others “Iconoclast” climbed position 21 in Germany and position 29 in Greece!

3. We added a last minute show at the JUZ Oettingen next Friday (22nd of Feb.), it´s a tiny club and we´re keen to play a face to face show like that again at last!

4. From now on HSB guitarist Maik will write a short column on the German Metal Hammer online page every 1st and 15th of a month. Have a look at the first one here:

It is officially sold out from the Century Media Records warehouse, what is with our distributors are the only copies available. Although the certainty, that Denis is not with us anymore still hurts a lot, it was just overwhelming to see how many people came to the show. It was an amazing night and we´re sure, that Denis was rocking with us! More than 2500 Euros came in and will be donated to a charity organisation, that is taking ca

Farewell

This week we bid farewell to a close and dear friend of the band. Denis Funke (Hellborn Metal Radio) is dead. Denis has always been an important supporter and patroniser of HSB, we shared so many happy days together on Festivals at shows or on the road. On the 29th of November we will play on a memorial-show for him in the Rosenkeller in Jena. www.rosenkeller.org R.I.P. my friend, thanks for your friendship and everything you did for us. No news since ages, we were just too busy, sorry!

Last week we came back from Japan and this trip has just been amazing, nice clubs and great people, thanks to everybody, we love you Nippon!!! Special thanks to the guys in Birthplace and to the 168 Crew!!! Vegan sushi is the law!!!

We´re already back to the studio dungeon and almost all guitar tracks are recorded – we´re just doing some more lead guitar stuff here and there during this week.

Marcus also started recording vocals four days ago. Everything is working out great and the material sounds really brutal, we love our new baby! This time we did not want you to wait for two years for a new record and after you guys gave us such a power infusion by supporting us at this summers Festivals… – we took this spirit and energy right into the studio!

Some new shows will be announced very soon, so watch out! We´ll also play some places, we never played before!

Ólafur Arnalds – ist einer von nur 300.000 Isländern, man sollte meinen es ist nicht schwer bei 3 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometer (Elfen und andere Fabelwesen nicht mitgerechnet) einzigartig zu sein, doch der aus der gleichen kleinen, verträumten Stadt wie Sigur Rós,
nördlich von Reykjavik, stammende Künstler geht noch eigenwilligere Wege. Zerbrechliche, entrückte, emotionale klassische Independent- Musik.
Keine zeitgenössischen klassischen Geräuschorgien oder barocke Tonleiterexzesse, vielmehr muten seine Kompositionen wie aktuelle Alternativ-Musik an, jedoch nur mit Streichinstrumenten und Piano dargeboten.

Ein ruhiger, schwebender Soundtrack zu einem sehr traurigen aber wundervollen Film, wie er zur Winterszeit in jedermanns innerem Seelenkino läuft, eisig und dunkel funkelnd aber doch wärmend und ergreifend schön

HSB going East and South!!!

We're happy to announce our first ever appearance in russia!!! no need to say that we're more than excited to come over and try out how much is left from the russian we learned at school! This show is going to happen on april 22nd and the venue is called "tabula rasa". more info up here soon!
about the latin american tour: Our shows in sao paulo and buenos aires are 100% confirmed and we're really looking forward to hit latin america again. in brazil(march 11) we'll play with DEEPER THAN THAT, QUESTIONS and ALTO TEOR DE REVOLTA and at our first ever appearance in argentina(march 9), we'll share the stage with our brothers in xNUEVA ETICAx!!!
The show in Santiago de Chile is still not confirmed yet, we hope it will work out!

1. Am Dienstag den 19.12.2006 werden HSB zusammen mit Ólafur Arnalds (aus Island) eine show in der Gerberstr.3 in Weimar spielen. Sozusagen als öffentliche Betriebsweihnachtsfeier!!! Einige kennnen Ólafur und seine Band sicher schon von verschiedenen HSB releases, wo er für stimmungsvolle Intros und Outros sorgte. Wir freuen uns über jeden, der kommt und mit uns feiert, es wird ein toller Abend in einem gemütlichen kleinen Club werden! 6. During the past year we got tons of mails and messages 
asking about Ólafur Arnalds, the icelandic artist who did the 
classical intros and outros on our "Antigone" CD. 
We´re happy to tell you that Ólafur is working on his first 
full length CD. He sent us some demos and we were just 
blown away!!! You can hear some raw-mixes on his 
myspace page already!  Leave him a message, he´ll be 
happy to hear some warm words, it´s so cold in Iceland...

"DEAF TO OUR PRAYERS" coming up!

We finally finished our new CD!!! Date of release will be
28th of August for Europe and North America! It will be named "DEAF TO OUR PRAYERS", this title was inspired by the famous poem "The Silesian Weavers" by German poet Heinrich Heine. Artwork was done by nobody less than The Terje - Norways latest design shooting star! We´re just in the process of developing a concept for a first video, we´ll keep you updated on that! More news on everything within the next days!

We also want to invite you to some really special show this weekend (June 10th). We´re gonna play at a party in Höxter/Germany. One of our oldest friends got married and we´re chosen to care about the musical part for this special night, so be there - everybody is welcome! It will be a cool and intimate clubshow, don´t miss it!!!

First of all we wanna thank everybody who made the CALIBAN release show such a great night for us. We were overwhelmed by the reactions and the support you guys gave us! After spending a whole day in a winter-wonderland on some ugly highway we did not expect to play one of the coolest shows ever! We know that this would not have been possible without our friends in CALIBAN who changed playing times with HSB without hesitation and gave us their headliner-spot at their own release show! We owe you one, guys, we can´t thank you enough!

Hey folks, here we go again with some fresh HSB news.

On the 11th of March we´re gonna co-headline CALIBANs release show in Oberhausen, Germany. No need to say, that we´re happy to support our old buddies at this event, see www.calibanmetal.com for more info. This show will be a blast get your tickets soon as pre-sale is really cheap and runs incredibly fast!!!

We also just were invited to play this years With Full Force Festival, one of Germanies biggest alternative open airs. We´re gonna share the mainstage with Kreator and Celtic Frost - hell yeah!!! www.withfullforce.de
There will be a few more festivals for us this summer, so check back from time to time, we´re gonna release those news asap.

And of course we´re still working all day and night for our upcoming CD, our new guitarist Alex has an great influence on the songs and brought many fresh ideas and aggression to the material. It seems we already found an albumtitle and first songs are named as well, we´ll tell you first details very soon!!!

Last month we went to see BOLT THROWER on their Eurotour, unbelievable! If you have the chance to see them somewhere - go there, it´s the best and most brutal band in the world!!!

Cottbus Show nach Spremberg verlegt!

Aufgrund von Schwierigkeiten mit der Stadtverwaltung ist die HSB show am 20.01.06 vom Muggefug in Cottbus in den Club JC EREBOS, Kraftwerkstr. 62 in Spremberg verlegt worden, das ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt von Cottbus, also wir hoffen mal dass wir uns trotzdem zahlreich sehen und nen lauten Abend feiern werden!!!
Due to some problems with city-administration the HSB show on Friday the 20th of Jan. had to be moved from Cottbus to the Club JC EREBOS, Kraftwerkstr. 62 in Spremberg, which is only a few kilometers away from Cottbus! Hope to see you guys anaway!!!

No more HSB shows in 2005 - but we´re not lazy at all!!! Right now we´re in the middle of the writing and pre-production process of our next full length Cd which will be out next year. We´re working on that baby with high pressure!!!

"Patrick Schleitzer will leave HSB, big farewell-show in Saalfeld (GER)"

We´re sad to announce the departure of our guitarist and dear friend Patrick.
Patrick has been a part of HSB for more than seven awesome years, he´ll always remain a member of the HSB family and we thank him for the great times we had together - we will always remember the partytrips to Athens, the nude photo shoot in front of the frozen waterfall in Iceland or the soccer match in Brasil, hahahaha!!!
No need to say, that we wish Patrick all the best for his final year on university and the new horizons he´s gonna conquer. Here is a statement from him.
We have respect for his decision and totally understand his reasons. We´re gonna miss you!!!

HSB will play a special farewell-show with Patrick on the 18th of November in Saalfeld (Germany). We´ll also use that night to introduce our new guitarist Alex, but more about him soon! Please come out and help to make this an unforgetable night for Pat!

We´re on the road again!!!

Hello from Sweden, this is the third day of Hell On Earth Tour.
The past to show were sold out, kids were crazy and tonight will be sold
out too, so nothing to complain. All bands are awesome and we´re having
fun in our bus -called "Das Boot". From time to time we´re writing a

This weekend (Saturday the 29th of Nov.) HSB´s gonna headline the annual Festival in Sandnes/Stavanger. No need to tell the band is really excited about playing their first Norway date at last. Drum tracks, bass and some of the guitars are already done and the work continues with high pressure. Everything should be done by November and for the final works HSB´s gonna head to Denmark in December to let TUE MADSEN give it the final kicks in his ANTFARM studio.

But beside these Studio dates there will also be two great shows coming up next weekend (17th/18th of October) in Zittau (Ger) and Saalfeld (GER). Woooooooooow, we wanna thank everybody, who supported our show at the Wacken Festival, we were just blown away by peoples´ reactions, thanks so much for checking us out, singing along, swallowing the dust and doing the only circle pit and wall of death of the Festival!!! It was insane, you are insane!!!

Our first show in Denmark (the day before Wacken) ever was a blast as well, we´ll be back in Denmark soon, for sure!

On the 22nd of February in 1943, three members of the Group "Die Weiße Rose" (White Rose) - a group of students, based in Munich, voicing their opposition towards Hitlers regime - were arrested and executed by the Nazis; Sophie Scholl, Hans Scholl and Christoph Probst. Further members of the group were also executed within the following weeks and months. HSB dedicted the song "THE FEW UPRIGHT" (on the "whatever it may take" Cd) to these young people, that rose their voice in the darkest of times, when nobody dared to speak the truth. Wow, that was a bomb! More than 1300 kids, showed up at yesterdays Caliban/ /HSB/Waterdown/ Destiny show. That was just unbelievable, maybe one of the biggest shows of that kind in Germany ever. It was great seeing so many people dancing, moshing, screaming together. Thanks for the giant moshpitt, the stagedives, the sing alongs and the headwalks! You guys and girls threw an awesome party!!!

We really hope the East Version of the Caliban Release shows will be as insane as that one! Beside Caliban and HSB there will also be Aclys , Narziß and xMaroonx playing. Allright, we´re back from Iceland since a few days now! Weather there is better, than you might expect > even the sun is shining for a few hours... Our second trip to Iceland within six months and we had such a great time again! Call us pathetic but playing Iceland is like a huge powerinfusion and the responses by the people are just overwhelming!!! Thanks to Siggi, Gyda, Arni, Gudrun, Birkir, Valli, Eva, Aegir, the cool bands we played with and all our other old and new friends we met!!!

The show at WFF Festival was a huge success. The responses have been overwhelming. We hope we can show you some pics and videofootage here soon. Of course we were quite nervous entering this huge stage, but as we saw hundreds of familiar faces in the first rows - we knew that this gig would become insane! And it was total Mayhem...

Next Weekend (Friday and Saturday 26.07. + 27.07) the first OUTBACK-FESTIVAL will take place in Bad Salzungen Thuringia. HSB´s gonna kick some Nu Metal asses like 4 LYN or EKTOMORF... But tons of other cool bands are playing too like WATERDOWN, DEVIL INSIDE or PLANK.
So be there this will be cool! And, if this Festival gets big you can say - I saw it the first time!!! Remember the With Full Force story...

First of all a quite late thank you to the awesome people in Iceland! This was without doubt one of the best weekends we ever spend with our band. It was not just playing a few shows, it was meeting tons of new friends in one of the most beautiful countries on this planet. We never expected an enthusiastic welcome like that - friends told us, that the people there are great - but we had no idea you´re that great!!! Again, thank you so much! WOW!!! About 500 kids showed up and even the weather was not as bad as last time - well, some snow on the way shocked us, but all went great in the end... Even lots of crazy punks from Czech Republik, the Netherlands and of course the Hamburg sailor mafia made their way to this distant point in the very East of Germany. We´d like to thank all the bands, the people, the catering- and the record guys for making this possible! Everybody had a blast and this was without doubt one of the coolest shows this young year has seen so far! Warship Thomas and his crew for managing this cool night in Roßwein, one of Germanies most dedicated alternative clubs! It may sound pathetic, but that night we saw this huge room full with crazy people and we knew almost everybody of them - we realized once more, how many great friends we have, how many good bands there are and how much we love you all!!! o.k. this is a first short story about the days we spend down there in the "jungle" ;o) After twelve hours flight from our most hated airport in Paris (ask the Caliban guys for details, ha, ha...) we landed safely in Sao Paulo - that means only we and our hand baggage, not our real baggage and our guitars and stuff - the airfrance staff in Paris thought they should do one of their weekly revolutions and made up a huge strike, so our baggage never reached the plane! Nice!!! So we stood there with nothing but the stuff we had on our body, punkrock!!! Anyway, we were warmly welcomed by our buddy Marcos XLiberationX and Brazils No1. punkrocker Flavio ("I´m gonna show you some nasty stuff...") After we got some money from Air France and the information, that our bags would not reach Brazil before the strike is over, which may take at least three days! Next day we entered one of Sao Paulos big underwear discounters and bought like 20 pieces of underwear for about $ 10 and also 15 T- shirts for $ 13 - we were the best dressed band this continent had ever seen... to be continnued... 29/01/2002 - Whatever It May Take, digipack is sold out
The digipack silver edition of "Whatever It may Take" is sold out since a few weeks now. There are no more copies in the Lifeforce stock and we do not have any copies in our bands stock left either. Do you know the cool Motörhead song? Anyway tonight we´re gonna start our trip to the wild guys down there in the Jungle - crossing the equator for the first time in bandhistory!!! Back from the Goodlife "the day before New Years fest" we can say, that it was really amazing - all people hold out to see us playing as last band - thank you so much - we really had a good time and it was fun for everybody (sorry for the first song, but HSB Maik is too stupid for tuning guitars, ha, ha...). It´s been great to party with people from everywhere (Scandinavia, Germany, England, France of course the huge mob from the Netherlands and from many other regions throughout Europe!!!). Far more people turned up, than anybody expected!

The new years show in Munich was just nuts!!! The bill was packed with great bands and there was no single weak set this evening! During the HSB set a stagedive contest was accomplished - congrats to the lucky winners (by the way "Air Austria" was far underrated, ha, ha)!!! this show was one of the most insane for HSB this year - so many crazy people on stage, in the pit, in the air and hanging from the ceiling (!!!). HSB are confirmed to play the WITH FULL FORCE FESTIVAL 2002! The WFF (from July the 5th - July the 7th) is one of the biggest Metal/Alternative Festivals in Europe. In the past bands like Slayer, Iron Maiden, Ministry, Motörhead, Manowar, Rammstein and Judas Priest headlined the bill. Also HSB´s labelmates CATARACT appear at this years edition. what a shit!!! you may have heard it already - our releaseparty was a huge desaster! We felt very bad about the whole situation, but there was of course nothing we could do about it... From early morning on whole Eastgermany was one huge mess - snow everywhere!!! Three of the bands > xMAROONx, FALL OF SERENITY, HSB< and many of the kids stock in huge trafficjams caused by the white magnificence. Only the Warriors from DESTINY (from the very north of Germany!) and from DARWIN ( from the very north of the Netherlands!!!) managed to reach the venue and played a free show for the waiting people. 666 thanks to everybody, who came to the venue > to name only a few: the Heros from Czech Republik(!!!) and the invincible Hansa Crew from Hamburg(!!!). If you also stock on the motorway we hope you returned safely at least. No need to say, that we won´t surrender and will set up a new releaseshow in early 2002! We´ll keep you updated...
